Mandana got her start in working in the Art and Wardrobe department on a number of independent films, music videos, and commercials. She lived abroad for over a year in Brazil in 2000, where she began importing Havaiana flip flops, before the rave hit the rest of the world. In 2015, she formed her own business; sourcing and creating a line of vintage and modern hand-crafted throw and floor cushions. She carefully sources all her materials and manages to be as sustainable as possible. Little goes to waste. With any remaining textiles, she utilizes and creates napkins, kitchen towels and is carrying a limited collection of vegan inspired hand-made travel pouch bags. Her personal style is a blend of ethnic and contemporary aesthetics. With a passion for color, pattern and architecture, she draws her inspiration from her Iranian background and her love for traveling abroad. Her approach to design is carefully curated in her signature bohemian and cutting edge style.
